Popcorn Kingdom

lyrics

Scented salamander scapegoats,
Oh, I forgot my plans.
Crawled along the walls
and always watched my step.
To be so tiny
would have been fitting.

Last night I found a spot in the woods and I called it home. It was a vast cave with walls made of foam.
I built a fire by the seaside and I warmed my bones. I worshipped the Gods of the sea and I threw in stones. I woke up later with salt on my tongue. My soul was wounded and my heart, it was stung.
